Neónka Banská Bystrica
Neónka Banská Bystrica is a civic association that was founded to directly help children’s patients.
The help is aimed at pediatric patients (0-18 years) with serious, often lifelong diseases such as diseases of the kidneys, lungs, heart, nervous and muscular system, psychiatric diseases.
For hospitalized patients in the children’s department, we try to:
- make the environment more pleasant
- with the support of sponsors, we provide modern equipment in children’s clinics
- we support the children’s library and activities in the hospital.
- we reimburse patients treated at home for medication supplements.
- in the form of charity events, we try to support and improve the living situation of children (purchase of special aids).
The neon sign is known to glow in the dark. And we also want to be such a lamp for all our sick children and their families.
The core of the civic association consists of 4 female doctors directly from the children’s ward, who perceive the situation as it is and know how to target help directly where it is needed. In fact, there is a full department of Neons!
